Default AL Guard Rifle Team - Where to Practice?

Hello,

We are trying to start our ANG Rifle Team back up again, but are looking for a range to practice at. Any suggestions for a 600 yard range in central AL (Birmingham)?

Thanks,
Mike

Tried that. Met with Ms. Lisa Gaither last week about it. Unfortunately, I just spoke with Deven Beam. She wants to charge us $25 per person per practice. Our unit can’t afford that. We wanted to practice every
other Wednesday afternoon and were going to showcase the TMP in our base newsletter (1000+).

That has to be a mistake on their part. You didn't walk in there wearing a "Auburn Rulz" shirt I hope as I think they are all "Roll Tide" fans there.

No. Lol. Our meeting last week was in uniform. We were planning on practicing in uniform as well. Ms. Beam understood who we were and what we were trying to set up, which included good PR for them.

Mike--I do believe Deven offered you the junior rate as well which would be $15/day or $5/hr.

Ok. 15 not 25. I was going by the 250/10 “sessions” that was discussed. Still, that’s per shooter per practice.
