Default Colt Tier III 100th Anniversary Model 1911

I have a chance to pick up one of the 100th anniversary Colt 1911's, in box and looks unfired for $800. Anyone have thoughts about these?

800 is a pretty good deal. It is basically a O1918 WWI repro with different roll marks. Lots of guys don’t like the roll marks. On the other hand, I have both and they are very nice. These might not appreciate as much in value compared to the WWI repros, but for a well built and accurate 1911 that is NIB, you won’t be hurt at $800.00. Just my two cents.

I agree, $800 sounds good like a pretty good deal.
