If you're talking about the Swede, there is a mount specific to the M41b.The only company I'm aware of making it is Accumounts and it is $ pricey $.

From what I understand, the 34mm objective limit is what separates an old "El Paso" K4 from a newly manufactured K4 (4X38).

Maybe the old scopes did not have a duplex reticle, which only appeared on the new production scopes?

(Going out on a thin limb...maybe?)

Either way, I would demand some formal documentation regarding the legality of the reticle. And if they say anything, just have them put you in the UNLIMITED category.

(sorry, couldn't resist)

Right you are. I'm having an Accumount installed, which includes the rings.

I screwed this up and actually meant that question in regard to an 03 A4.

CMP got back to me, but it wasn't much help. They simply cut and pasted from the rule book, without any amplification specific to my questions
