Suspicious 1903 "1" Serial Number

I have this 1903 I just bought, and the 1 in the serial number looks vaguely suspicious. It is slightly off center, and seems to have a lot of space around it. However, the barrel matches the date this receover was supposedly built on.

I think it's more likely to be real than not, however, I am seeking opinions in case someone has expertise confirming this as a fake, which I do not.

I looks ok to me. If you look closely the second 2 is out of line with the 1. The roll stamp was out of alignment. Not the first time.

I have the thought that if they're all not perfectly alligned (which is the case) it's probably good to go. Especially since the barrel date matches.

I have one just like your and it came from CMP two weeks ago...
