Thanks to all the well wishers.

At least the MRI, bone scans and x-rays show I don't need another surgery... at least not right now. I did have six deep muscle injections last Wednesday that seem to have helped. Hopefully, after four years and five surgeries things will get a little better. We've tried everything from cortisone injections, epidurals, acupuncture, surgeries, electro stimulation, massage therapy, physical therapy, pool therapy, etc. and enough narcotics to supply an enthusiastic pusher. The drugs did nothing at all for me and finally went bye bye down the toilet. They were prescribing so many narcotics I was afraid I'd get hooked on it... potent stuff like oxycodone, fentanyl patches, morphine and dilaudid! Believe it or not, two Aleve worked (and still do) just as well. I have dead peoples' bones in my body and enough screws and rods to stock a small hardware store! The wife wants to try chicken blood and bones next. I'm in New Orleans right now. Maybe I need to visit some voodoo mama in the French Quarter while I'm here.

BTW, all my narcotics have been disposed of. When you're disabled with obvious pain everyone knows you have drugs. Folks, even strangers, were asking me for pills. We were afraid of a home invasion looking for drugs! We wouldn't open the front door unless one of us had the other's back. My wife and I can't understand why someone would want to take that crap! Aleve is the strongest pain reliever in our home now.

Thanks again. They are amazed as to how good it is for corrosive ammo.
