Default Where to get M-2 stock?

My son reallly wants an M2 potbelly stock on his Carbine. He thinks the M2 cut and the thought that it is more "full auto" than his original WWII issue stock is really cool. I would like to get him an M2 stock and simply set the other stock aside so that if he ever decides that the original is "cooler" because of the vintage, he will have it.

I have been looking at the potbellies on this site. They seem a bit high, but the pictures also look like they are in good, unissued condition.

I know that it is heresy to some, but there is always eBay.

Whatacountry.com has stocks for $54.95. Give them a call. Nice people to deal with. I'm sure they can fix you up.

I recently got in two walnut M2 stocks and matching four rivet handguards from Whatacountry. They were in excellent condition with all metal included.

There is a guy from Evansbille Indiana selling reconditioned stocks on ebay (if you are willing to go that route). Some have sold for as low as $15-$20. Kept an eye on a few of them. Here is one he has going on now:
