I've seen/owned uglier and I'm sure you will grow to love this one.

I'm kinda surprised that the Carbines Formerly Known As Italian are being delivered, or at least talked about, again. Think they are digging towards the bottom of the box? You know, just like when they manufactured the carbines in the first place. Somebody's job was to make sure the parts bin was never empty and some carbines with later numbers ended up with earlier parts than others. Obviously the bin eventually was emptied or ran low enough for the earlier parts (or carbines) to see the light of day.

Not to feed the frenzy.

According to the sales page, service grade carbines are supposed to be MW of 3 or less. So you have a service grade barrel there according to their specs, not too shabby!

Angry missing pics

Don't know what the heck happened with some of the pics. No shows.

By golly, ZAUGAU, you are right. I guess since all my other Carbines are 2's or less, this one might be a loser. I feel better, should have gone back and read the carbine sales page.
Thanks,
J.R.

That rifle looks pretty good to me. Here are some shots of my SG Winchester I got and without a doubt the dirtiest and greasiest gun ever. It was something to clean.

I have more but you can see what I mean.

I hope my inland racker is just as ugly as yours when it shows. Only a few more weeks to wait if I'm lucky. Thanks for the pics.
