Default Friday Closing Report

There was a really cool statue added outside the CMP Store today that is about 95% plus made mainly out of M1 receivers and barrels, about 12’ tall. Very impressive!!! Ronwall will post a picture today on the report.

Not much to report this afternoon. There were seven rifles sol today. Tomorrow’s opening inventory should be about the same as today’s.

WRA FG 1.

Good luck on your searches.

Tom,

Thank you for your help on Thursday! Happy with our purchases. Those C stocks sound nice good thing for my wallet we didn’t stick around another day!

Much appreciated.

Whit

That is an amazing statue, as T38 said above I hope these were destroyed drill rifles used. Still some real craftsmanship. I need to get back down there but easier said than done as I'm 1800 miles away.

We will never know for sure so my position is “Built from all drill rifles”..... It was interesting to me to start checking manufacturers and serial numbers... someone may find just the rifle they have been searching for but at least they will know where it is!!!

I'd argue that a person who can ID minute differences in parts to the point of determining the manufacturer without needing a manufacturers initials stamped on a part is an expert. There's different levels of expert, of course.

The sculpture is awesome. Whoever welded that together had great creativity and talent.
