Default Itrader Removed from Forum

Just an FYI,
After several users abusing the feedback system, we have decided to remove the plug-in all together. It will not be brought back, apologies to those who were using it correctly.

It is too time consuming for staff to cipher through the legitimate complaints vs those who were abusing it.

Wow, trading and buying on the CMP Forum have really helped me advance my collection. Now I'm going in blind. Call me naive but how was it being abused--fake feedback?

Totally agree!!! Since I have noticed a lot of sellers don't post a name or a location, which was a rule for selling, we have no way now to gauge a reputation. Sorry to see this go away!

Ghost-

I feel your pain but that may not be your best alternative, all things considered. Ratings were very helpful to many of us members. Now, what you are likely to have is many more threads posted with flaming comments or at least criticizing those who feel abused by a seller or buyer. Sorting through those may not be any easier than dealing with the ratings system. I'm not sure you really have any 'duty' to 'sort through' either one though. Could you check with counsel on that? (Or maybe you already did?!). An alternative might be to allow folks to comment on the ratings that they feel are wrong on the ratings plug-in.Thanks for supporting all of us!

This is really going to make it tough not being able to least check to see if they had any feedback??? Wish there was a some other way instead of dumping the feedback numbers. What a shame
