They sure are.
On a par with LRB and more cost effective.

I bought one at Perry and I love it!

Much better than my Springfield National Match.

These two receivers along with Rock-Ola bolts and Bula Forge med weight NM barrels followed me home from Camp Perry this year.
These are fine examples of what hammer forged and machined to very close tolerances along with good old American know how can be. Mark Hartman that owns James River has his heart in his work. It is a pleasure doing business with them. I can't say that I have had the best of experiences with SAI.

I've heard nothing but good things about the JRA Rock-ola receivers. Here is a side by side comparison of a USGI Winchester M14 and an early production Rockola receiver.

I have picked up a B/R and a receiver of theirs over the past few months and the look to be very high quality.
Will be building up the B/R (JY Wolfe barrel) over the next couple of weeks so should have a range report.
