My Bula built DMR had amazing accuracy as received, tweaked by an M14 smith and one of these would likely be a real tack driver

Accurizing isnít as bad as you think. Just need to take your time. And yes these are tack drivers when they get extra attention. Wish I could do it for a job.

Bula put a feeler out for their own unitized gas cylinder a couple of months ago. I hope they put them into production.

Iím going to build more in the future.

That would be nice! Haha. I'm not worried about it. They seem very honest and were upfront about the wait time.

I am VERY anxious to get it back though haha

Default Drop In on a USGI Parts Kit?

Somewhat new to M1A. I have an old USGI Parts kit (Complete, less receiver, from 10 years ago, not CMP). Will the barreled receiver 'drop in' to complete the build? Do I need to send them the bolt? I did not see a bolt included or for sale. Thanks!

Their barreled receivers include a headspaced bolt.
Your kit, if complete should make a rifle for you.

Give them a call. They are great folks to work with and I bet you can find something to your liking. At least, they could provide an answer as to when your dream machine might be available.

Just got word from Jeff that my 2 XM21s in 6.5 will be shipping next week. He has been working on stuff for shot show. Oh boy, Christmas in January.

That makes two of us.
Getting pretty low on CMP parts kits though.
Good thing Bula is making all the parts needed for the XM21s.
Plenty of ammo ready that I have been using in my bolt rifle.

Art,

My friend Steward that I was telling you about built a 6.5 m14. He loves it and showed me his first three targets. Boy what an accurate rifle. I didnít ask him what his load was but the groups were about the size of a fifty cent piece. I look forward to seeing your write up on the completed rifles.

Regards,
Casey.
