Default NS Field Grade 10/19

Hello, Here is a 2.11m SA Field Grade that I picked up at the NS on 10/19. appears to be original finish in uniform lighter gray with HRA 5-52 barrel TE-3.5 ME-1.0

Outstanding features include a nicely figured SA DAS stock in VG condition and also a straight side modified WRA op-rod. This was the nicest looking FG in the rack in my opinion, but there were a few others that were a close second. I chose this because of the stock and overall looks and low ME.

There is pitting on the underside rear of the receiver and very minor pitting at the left receiver heel just at the woodline. I suspect that is why it was graded a FG. There are no other flaws except for a kinked op rod spring which I replaced with a new one from AmmoGarand... handguards are in mint condition. Front handguard is HRA.

Here is the pitting, there is some on the underside where it contacts the wood as well. Not a lot and not deep though.

thanks for looking
Tony

Looks great! I've got a 2.0M that has a similar milling/contour line down the center of the receiver heel like yours appears to have, if I'm seeing that correctly.
