Default Barrel Vise and Action Wrench

I've got (4) sets of the following for sale:

-Barrel vise (generic)
-M1 carbine bushing set
-Action wrench (generic)
-M1 carbine action block

This started out with me making a setup for myself and decided to make a few extra to see what happens. These are super heavy duty (probably a little overkill) and with normal use will be the last ones you buy.

Garand bushings and action block are in the works and should be done in a week or so. They will directly replace the carbine items.

Bushing will be tight the first time. This was intentional in order to allow them to "seat" to the barrel. Action block was designed for a soft shim (brass, copper, etc.) and screw to tighten against receiver to make up for any mfg. tolerance of receiver.

Due to the "not so great" knurl on the handle (the only machining I did not personally do; go figure) and the fact that these constitute my my initial run I'll let the first (4) sets go for $125 each plus shipping. Garand parts will be an extra
$50 if ordered later but if paid up front $30.00 shipped for whoever buys the kit.

(3) kits are SPF and therefore (1) more is available (at least for now.) Garand bushings and action block will be done this week.

If you're making a Garand wrench, etc. Let me know when you do it, and I'll take a set!

I'd be interested in a Garand set as well.

All parts are complete! Initial run is sold out but if there is enough interest I'll make a larger quantity run.

+1 on the Garand setup. I would really like a heads up when they are available.

Another +1 on the Garand setup... Tell us/me when they are ready....

One important question, How long is the handle on the wrench part.??? I have had 2 shoulder rebuilds, therefore, my dominant shoulder is a little on the weak side...is the handle long enough for wrenching receiver back onto barrel without superhuman strength.???

Thanks,
Paul
