Is there anyway you could be an entire revolution off on your sights? I like the big target at 25yds idea. If you are at 4k that barrel is ready to be replaced anyway.

I can shoot a one hole/one shot group at any distance....."If I do my part"

Blowing up bullets is a possibility. In each stage of a match, I had more and more misses. This was a 200 yard walk and paste match. Afterwards, the Match Director had everyone stand behind me to let them see what a blown up bullet looked like. I was using a 1-7 bolt gun with some custom 64 (67?) grain bullets that were given to me.

I shot a string of prone rapid and every bullet exploded into a grey puff. They said about 25-30 yards down range.
