Default Carbine Repack Sets

I am looking to pick up a couple of M1 Carbine Repack kits.

It seems there is a New Style and an Old Style.

Which one should I get (does it matter?) and why?

Thanks.

The old style has the spoon as an integral part of each stripper clip, while the new style is like the 5.56 strippers with a separate spoon.

If cost is not an issue, and I'm not sure if there even is a difference between the old and newer style, I would go with the earlier ones w/spoon attached. You will never need to be digging around for the spoon or risk losing the only one you may have with you at that given time.
