Yes, it is legit. The seller is a top notch guy. I have bought from him several times and I know him from the many visits to the South Store. I am sure that it came off a CMP Carbine.

Both the band and the swivel seem original , however if you are looking for an IBM complete band the "SV-B swivel is correct. The band itself does not seem to be IBM. IBM bands (from what I recall) had 3 oblong spot welds not 2.....Hope that helps.....

My KV-B has 2 oblong welds just like the pic in the auction. I'm not an expert, but looks legit to me.

Bad form guys. He asks you for your opinions about legitimacy of the product and seller, and then you use his information and market research against him in starting a bidding war, and ultimately wind up costing the final buyer more than they would have otherwise spent. Bad form.
