Add 3 MOA to 20" bbl drop and 15% to wind dope. No big deal.

Interesting post. This looks like a style of shooting that I would like to try sometime.

Berger has an 85.5 grain hybrid that might make it. It runs well in a 1 :8 twist & should make 1000 yaris you start around 2600 to 2650 fps.

My suggestion, if you really want to play this game, is to put together a dedicated mid / long range upper with a Manson T15 Fullbore chamber designed to fire the 85.5 (COAL about 2.625) Or if you don’t want to go that drastic, at least one of the 223 Match chambers in the .100 freebore range and use the 80.5. You can get more velocity before pressure. The 1:8 is the bare minimum twist and you won’t get full BC at that rate. 7.5 is really the min for full BC and good stability without excessive RPM. 7 twist is fine below 3000 - above it is pushing the danger zone of poofing if something goes awry. My newest barrel is a 7 twist 5R .218 bore firing the 85.5 at about 3050 (31” long).
