No, but maybe the unit also had an Underwood M1 Carbine with this serial number.

          Wra 2,448,399a

[QUOTE=Dedeuced;1634969]Found this WRA SG 2455795 Stamped 'A' up at the North Store during the Nationals this year. Who has her twin???

I recently picked up this WRA with the A serial suffix letter. It looks very much like yours and I think could have been done the same way.

These look to have been scribed with a sharp point instead of stamped.

          Rob

This one belongs to Tennboy (John Listar) now!

            WRA/SA Duplicate Serial Listing

            Guys,
After speaking to Dave I am adding the spreadsheet below so that it is easier to cross-reference your serial numbers for a match.
You are welcome to keep adding your numbers to the posting and I will update the list on a regular basis.
PLEASE enter only complete serial numbers as well as the make you have. Partial serial numbers do no good so would not get added to the master list.
Any matches on the list will be highlighted in Green.

Any numbers from my rebuild database will be shown as being from a Forum Member. If you would like to have your name added, just let me know.
Serial number from any other locations will have that location identified.

I think it would be cool to get enough serial numbers listed so we can start getting some matches
I hope this proves to be helpful.
            Rob

I received SA 2532243A from the CMP last week. The "A" seems to have recently been added with an electric engraver.

It's Service Grade but came with a broken safety. Is that normal?

Thanks for the submission, I will add it to the list.

It is easy to believe the A was recently added, but hard to say just how long ago it was. Most appear to be bright bare metal from the samples I have pictures of.

Broken Safety is not normal and the CMP will probably replace it if you contact customer service.
