I thought 'u' marked mags were for underwoods? (this is an honest question)

Duane is correct, Union Hardware, which is a replacement magazine. Here is a real handy site for mag ID's:

I thought "U" was for Underwood also.

Good site, thanks for the info. When I bought my underwood it came with two 'U' marked mags, always assumed it was underwood.
