Default Sa marked m1 en bloc clips

What is the significance, and time frame, of the different markings on the SA en bloc clips, i.e, small letters, large letters, letters with one, two, or more dashes, etc.?
TIA

Large font-WWII, small font-post war AFAIK. The additional dashes (or numbers for other suppliers) serve to identify which particular die set was used to produce the clip in multiple fabrication lineups.

lavaTech beat me to this. I just found a PM (this new forum is nice, but I'm not used to it yet) which asked this question and this is how I responded. I don't know all that much about the clips other than how lavaTech described it. I have always held back all my SA clips, especially the large font ones, as I believe those are the WWII ones. Again, just like lavaTech stated.
