Default Will Fed Ex sit on my bayonet ?

The schedule has a 8/2 delivery.
Will they hold it untill then, when they could have it to me today (or even yesterday)???

At local FedEx facility
Package not due for delivery"

I know, I should call them with this question. Maybe I can pick it up early?

Anyone else ever see this ?

Thanks.

I would call them and see if you can pick it up. I have done that with a few of my cmp orders and have had good results from fedex.
At the same time it may still be in the shipping container and still not sorted for delivery.

Guess it depends on where you are. Mine was scheduled for delivery on 2 Aug. Got the package yesterday, 29 Jul.

P.S. I agree with Peter100. My bayonets (new) are seriously sharp.

I had the same type notice. Package arrived on the 19th, not due for delivery until the 21st, delivered on the 20th.

I had an order for a cleaning rod that arrived at the fed ex hub and out on truck for delivery but wasn't scheduled to be delivered until the next day. I waited all day and saw that the order went back to the hub. It was delivered the next day.

My bayonet order shipped 7/28 with a delivery date of 8/2 but I got it 7/29.

Who knows why things get delivered early or held until scheduled delivery date.

CMP sent my crate of ammo via fed ex to my home and no one was home to get it. My fedex guy called me and I asked him to deliver it to my office. He was more than happy to oblige. Granted it was just a mile down the road.

Maybe if you call them, they might send it to another place.
