Default Firearms Data Base

My son is writing a software program that will be ultimate firearms data base software. All he talked about when he came out of the service (10th Mountain Div.) was this idea. It is in Beta form now because he is still chasing some bugs. It is an application designed to help you keep track of your firearm inventory. It offers many features to help maintain your collection digitally with the short-term goal of meeting ATF digital boundbook requirements (code still in progress but shortly!) and the long term goal of being the database system you need. Whether you are a C&R collector like myself or you are an FFL with a large inventory, his program will help keep your information safe and secure, and, just as important, organized. It's free and he can use your input. The DB website is http://myifsgundb.com/
It's free and he can use you input. It will always be free to those helping him to get it right.

Interesting. I currently use an excel spreadsheet, but it's clunky. I can't get the website you provided to work.

Enjoy!
Please let him know if you find a bug, as in something doesn't work right. Any suggestions and ideas on what else you want it to do, would be really great. No, it won't clean your guns for you........He works on it every day when not working for $. I keep reminding him that until you are making money from it it's just an expensive hobby.

He works on it ALL day.

You can't beat the price of this program and it works awesome. I have been running this for a while and finding very few bugs. He fixes bugs almost as soon as you tell him about them. Also if you have any ideas for something to improve it or something you think needs to be included please let him know and he will implement it.

Nah......only on his days off and nights. He's been this way with computers since he was eight. What did he sign up for in the army? Infantry..... He is a lot smarter now. He works for Dyndns during the day, and code vampire at night.
