Default WTS: Reproduction M84 scope for M1D

WTS: Almost new reproduction M84 scope. I bought this repo scope thinking that I would use it when I actually shot my M1D, and I would keep the USGI M84 unit for investment purposes...but then I bought a nice 1903A4 with 7/8" rings but no scope...so I had to buy yet another USGI M84 scope to put on the 1903A4 to make it correct looking, and decided to sell this repo M84.

Original box (note that these scopes do not come with any instructions)

I never mounted this repo scope in my M1D, but did briefly mount it on the 1903A4 to check clearances and appearances, so it has very light ring marks behind the adjustment turrets, but its really more of a smeared/smudged mark. (see below pic)

I paid $375 or so for it, but will let it go for $300 + $10 shipping. It will come in the original box. Some say the optics are a bit brighter than the original scopes, and I think the parallex value of the repo is a little better than the original as well, so it should work well for those who want to use it on an M1D or 1903A4 for vintage sniper matches, etc. Here's my extensive write-up and some pics comparing my first USGI M84 with this repo M84 that is for sale: http://forums.thecmp.org/showthread....light=repo+m84

Thanks Random Guy,

Excellent write up comparing and contrasting the original and reproduction M84 scope (Next to last paragraph). Good luck and best wishes on your sale.

Tempting.

Any issue with the turrets, too much play, etc?

Default SPF to LCWLIU

(gtodan - no issue with turrets, they feel just like my USGI M84)
