Default When will ammo come back? What's your thoughts?

Just wondered what everyone thinks when will .22LR, .223 etc.. come back to where you can buy it in the store? What about primers powder etc? Is it all gone because it's all bought up or are they not making enough?

who pays 60.00 for a box of .22LR? Going to enjoy Flying and the mountain bike for a while it's cheaper to buy AVGas then .22LR

Mike

ammo is in stock if you know where to look in ohio. just 100 rd limits on the 5.56 and 7.62x51 though. Plenty of .22 ammo also. 5.56 expensive and 7.62 going for 14 per 20.

Default AVGas?

How much is avgas a gallon? Regular here in Illinois is up again overnight twenty cents to $3.65. Yesterday I thought it was high at $3.45 so I thought I'd wait to fill my pick-up. Filled the family van up day before yesterday at $3.35.

As far as 22 in the farm stores, about all that's availabe close by is birdshot. Don't recall the price.

It will be 6-9 months before all the manufacturers get caught up. I have heard that most gun shops are on allocation right now for ammo and components. The supply has been nearly exhausted by all the panic buying. Glad I stocked up....back in the good ol' days when you could buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Saw a posting the other day in a blog that showed there are 1 Billion rounds being made per week. They are going to military then LE then civilan.

Gun manufacturers are running into supply problems and are running wide open also.

Supply and demand isn't expected to level out until summer at the earliest.

Just before Sandy Hook some guy stopped me going in a show as he was leaving trying to sell his 2008 "panic buy" Colt AR in as new condition with only a few rounds through it. He said he paid $1500 and couldn't get a bite at the show. As he left some guy said "$1200" and he took it. He could've got $800 more a few weeks later.
