I'm not sure what you are asking. The barrel is threaded on to the lower. The end of the barrel is not capped. The end of the barrel has no threads.

Morning - is the barrel threaded on the 762x39 AR platform rifle? I cant tell if that's just the shape of the barrel or if it has a protective cap on threads. thanks
