My FFL has an automated system where you fill out the transfer form, pay the fee and the FFL is automatically sent to the recipient....... once I get the call I can have it done within a few minutes

My number is 21138 and I think they will call me on 22 April 2021

20075 and just called this morning!!!!! Hang in there, the call is coming!!

reg # 20481, Got the call this morning at 8:30, notified pistol shipped this evening.

Just popping in to say that this thread is infinitely more helpful than the one that has people putting information about when their packets arrived.

Hoping this will be the case. My RNG is north of 33,000, so it’s gonna be a long wait. I wish I could have gotten the app in earlier (even had the app printed on my desk in late Dec), but got tasked with heavy stuff during the inauguration, the administration change and then a job transition. Just bad timing all around. I figure if CMP can heroically keep to a pace of 250-ish per week, I'm probably, maybe, going to get a call about 13-14 months from now.

I'm just happy to be in the queue! My round 1 application was mailed by USPS mail and never arrived.

Read the forum, understand how the process works and if you haven't blown the money then when they call choose a grade.
My round 1 number was 16,000+. I got the call as expected, sent some money and got a pistol that would be $3000+ on the CMP auction.

In theory it did not matter when your app arrived.

20444, Wife got the call today. She was unable to answer while at work, will call back later. Also received the following email:

"Your order packet has been selected to receive a 1911 pistol. We are contacting you for payment information and pistol grade (preferred grade will be honored depending on availability).
