Good copy. Made sense to go back and read the instructions. Per the CMP's 1911 page, their policy is:
"Our staff will attempt to contact you by the telephone number listed in your packet, if unable to contact you, they will leave a message if your mailbox is set up or not full. The call will come from a 256 area code. If we do not hear back, you will be sent an email to the email address in your packet giving you 5 business days to respond."
The post I tagged my original question to, read that no call from the CMP was received and a check in call to CMP was made, finding out they only had five days to spare before their order would have been canceled. No mention of receiving an email, but that does mean that the CMP didn't attempt. Certainly, their policy states that they will try and email if you don't respond to a voicemail.
