On the wings of RGN 21818, I collected my Field Grade from my FFL yesterday. I'd intended to ask for a Field Grade all along, so no Service Grades available didn't bother me much. That said, I'm not sure this specimen should not have been a Rack Grade. Light pitting on the front strap and some little dings here and there. If it was refinished it's been handled plenty since then. October 1975 Anniston rebuild marks. Happy face for the 1944 Colt frame, sad face for the "GI replacement slide" (the one thing I was hoping to avoid). Barrel is an '84 TZ replacement. Tight gun, everything well fitted, decent trigger. It will be a good shooter. I'm trying to think of it as a Col War relic since I'm one too.

RGN 20881 and I haven't heard a thing yet.

Has anyone received an 1911 that didn't send in their package the first two weeks of January?

Do we know if any of those 147 mailed their packages in after say the 15 of Jan?

Me too and unless I missed someone every last person that has gotten a shipment sent their package in early. Which matches what CMP told me about how the "random" process ended up being implemented for this round.

Rgn 21792. Contacted Friday, offered field or rack. Picked field. Mailed my package around February 25. Credit card was charged today at 12:20pm EST.
