Service grade with Weight in Stock

Received a service grade today with a weight in the top hole of the buttstock. Never had that happen before. Top of the weight has a plastic ring with what looks like a part number beginning with 77. Nice birch stock. Letterkenny marked on receiver leg, no ink stamp.

I feel like I am going to be providing a coke. With the weight of the birch I might have jumped to conclusions when I couldn’t remove it last night.

It will probably require a strong hook/pick to pull out. These brushes do have holes on the end for a cleaning rod section to go through. Pretty common thing to get one stuck, there very well could be more cleaning stuff held in place by it.

Well, that is what it is and I can’t get it out. Gotta be some more stuff underneath as this stock seems to weigh a ton.

If it's like the last LEAD I got from CMP it has all this in there.

Just take the buttplate off and smack it down on a block of wood. Should fall right out.

It’s all apart now…but typical Letterkenny finish 64 barrel and mostly SA parts. Stock is nice tiger stripe birch. I did finally get the “weight” out and yes, I owe Jason a coke. In my defense it did have a cleaning kit behind the bore brush. In the end, I had to drill a pilot hole into the plastic and then screw a wood screw into the plastic of the chamber brush and pull it out.
