1911 colt produced in 1918

What would be the value on a 1911 colt produced in 1918. Ww 2 barrell. In field grade condition...non rearnsaled.

Whatever someone would pay.

There's not enough info to answer your question. Sorry, but it's true. Not rearsenaled but not original so how much else have been changed? Is the barrel still blued and worth what a correct WWI barrel would cost? "Field grade" condition means little and remaining finish affects value a great bit. So basically, somewhere between $1000-$1800 probably, with a WAG of $1400.

If you look up the value of a used car on KBB, you get a range. To narrow it down, you have to enter some details (milage, condition, options, etc.). This is no different.

Around my parts, $1200, but the value / interest has been rising the past couple of years. $1200 might be cheap, need pics .

Sorry donít have pics. Well worn condition. 50% bluing..original grips I believe. No pitting seen.

Five bucks. I can send a check.

If you are uncertain, buy it. The pistol is only going to increase in value. Life is too short. If you want the pistol, then buy it. How many more opportunities like this are going to come your Way again? They are not making any more of these? What are you waiting for? If you are getting butterflies in your gut, you are not capable of completing this sale.

Do it!
