Posting for a friend. 24491 received the email this morning. He will call on his lunch break today.

I was emailed yesterday, called today.. all three grades available. I do not know what my rgn is (24***) and when I asked she did not know.

It has a really long name "CMP M1 Garand, 1911 Pistols, M1 carbines, 1903, 1917 rifles, and other items".

Got an e-mail on 8/25. Pistol shipped yesterday to my FFL. Should be able to pick up today.

An exceptionally nice lady called from CMP1911 at 9:17AM Central Time today (01 Sep 21) to offer all 3 grades of 1911’s to me. I chose Service Grade and it is scheduled to ship today to arrive at my local gun shop tomorrow. RGN - 24468.

Seeing all of you that sent your package in during January receiving 1911s sure makes me wish I got in early as well. Totally thought that it didn't matter since the instructions said "random number generator". Oh well, I've waited this long.

Random question: Does anybody know what the call center hours are? Meaning, what time do they start calling and what time do they stop for the day? I am down to less than 100 to go now, and I have been obsessively refreshing the forum - looking for updates on what number they are up to.

EDIT: If I know they stop calling 5:00 pm central (for example), then I will stop monitoring my phone at that time.
