Hmmm. Last reported RGN contacted was August 3rd. Perhaps we've hit the end of current stocks? Waiting for grading to catch up? Something else?

There is something about Mondays not seeing much action...contacts posted to the timeline.
I doubt they are hitting the end of current stock......but never know for sure.

I was rgn # 23897 contacted on last Thurs (8-05).
Picked up my 1911 Fri after lunch from my lgs.

Your turn will come.

That means that if these to people report being contacted it will be Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Also, about half of the people don't report being contacted until they have received delivery of their pistol.

This means there may not be any reports this week unless new people report being contacted.
Once again, the reason I was a history major in college is affirmed. :D

Late Report
 
I have RN 23804. I was contacted on 7/30 and offered Field or Rack. Went with Field Grade. It was delivered to my FFL the next day, Friday the 30th. It is an excellent matched Remington slide / Remington frame with replaced barrel and hammer. No rebuild marks and looks to be the original finish.

Forgot to report because of a little thing called Camp Perry got in the way. Just got back home and will pick up the pistol from the FFL tomorrow.

Is it true that remaining 400 club members are now being told to not call or email at all? Trying to run down and clear up a possible rumor.

True - here's the guidance from the May 14th update: https://thecmp.org/sales-and-service/1911-information/

1. Please do not email or call requesting your RGN (random generated number). We are working diligently to resolve the emails that bounce back as undeliverable. We will not respond to email and calls concerning unreceived RGNs. Just because you have not yet received your RGN does not mean you won’t be contacted if your packet is correct and complete. Customers may becontacted before they received their number. During the first round, some did not receive their number at all and still received their pistol. We know it is frustrating but please bear with us.

I am aware of that directive. However I believe there were subsequent updates noting August. Am I mis remembering?
