ditto.... friend just got his 2044??? don't remember his RGN number.

I'm still debating Field Grande or another.. would like Colt, Colt, and will will trade with anyone who has a matching number slide or frame. Would be a wonderful thing to marry slide and frame together after 50 years or so. Also: As a USMC veteran Nam 1966-67 would be overjoyed to get a USMC .

A friend got the call today. Offered all three grades and is enroute to his FFL. His RGN is 20841

Anyone here still getting or know someone who got an email with rgn? I'm giving them to May since they asked to not get back until then if I didnt get an email. Really curious as I don't think any of the reasons they gave out for not getting an email seem valid in my case.

A few things to consider:
1. CMP did not have to list reasons why an RNG wasn't received, but as they did, we don't know if that's the complete list. I can think of reasons why a properly completed packet was mailed and the RNG has been assigned but not yet received.
2. While CMP probably won't state "we have now sent all RNGs; please call with your MIAs", they have said wait until May before inquiring. Maybe they have a few boxes of some waiting to be sent, for whatever reason(s)?

Remember, they did say that only 2 packets were lost in round 1.

CMP is staffed by enthusiasts who have a bunch of 1911s they want (need) to get rid of, and they deal with people who want to give them $1000 for one. They are not gatekeepers looking for a way to keep from getting your money. The odds are in your favor.

This is my observation based on my knowledge, experience and .....

RGN 20845. Got an email this morning from CMP that I responded to by phone. Offered all 3 grades. Monique was great and very pleasant to speak with. Now I wait to hear from my FFL.

Packet mislaid

My RGN is 20604 but I was noticing people being contacted who had numbers exceeding 20800. I figured 200 people passing me by was cause for concern. I called customer service and explained my situation to Monique. She said she would take a look and call me back. Just as I expected I got a call a couple of hours later and put in my order for a field grade 1911.

Kudos to the fine folks at the CMP and for all the hard work they do!

History of round 1 says your experience isn't unusual at all. At least as my memory of reading posts here reminds me.
