Wife got her # 2261 on April 6.

My apologies if this has been covered in another thread. I got my RGN of 31,152 on April 6th. Does anyone know how many pistols the CMP will be getting? Will I get one with my RGN this high? Thanks for any info.

With my RGN being 20604 I’m trying to stay prepared when the call comes. I’ve got all the FFL info in my wallet ( including a backup FFL)

Hopefully I’ll get the call before the end of April.

My thought/theory on this (I purchased one in the first round so have no skin in the game) is that cmp may only be assigning numbers based on the known quantity of pistols available at this time.

Complete speculation, but I’ve seen in discussions on other sites that the allotment to the CMP is something like 8k-10k per year which is why some people in round one weren’t called until last year. IF that’s correct (big IF) then maybe only RGNs up to 28000-30000 will be called this year and the rest next year. Of course it could go higher because not everyone who got a RGN will wind up buying one.
