Nice chart! Thanks for your forecasts. I have been out of town and they helped me plan my trip back to pick up my pistol.

I don't normally post here, but I wanted to say that your data analysis is always a pleasure to look at. I always enjoy reading your posts and looking at how you break down the numbers. I look at data every day as part of my job, but not to the degree that you do it.

As for your chart, it looks like I should get the call in a week or two. (26,230) My birthday is later in November, so that's kind of nice.

FYI

My RGN was 25856 and I was contacted yesterday 10-21-21. Only offered a Rack...somewhat disappointed. Lets see what condition of pistol I receive.

My RGN was 24774. I mailed off everything back in February I think. The email with my RGN came 6 April 2021.

I was contacted in early September saying my number was up.

Last week a 1944 Remington Rand Field Grade arrived. A tad beat up but as we all know it will work perfectly fine. Barrel bushing, safety, slide stop and Mag release are real parts, but not the same finish as the rest of the pistol.

I have a Colt, R&R and Ithaca from other private party purchases of the past few years. I hesitate to fire any of them. The pristine 1918 Colt M1911 I will never fire.

The CMP gave me what I wanted, a solid shooter that I can put a few rounds through a year.
Completely happy with what I got at that price point.

Cool chart. I never received an email with my RGN. Based on the date that they called me I now have an estimate of what my number was. Thanks.
