Response to FOIA request
 
Here is the response to my FOIA request submitted last August for the 1939 Navy Colt M1911A1 I won at auction from the CMP (there are no rebuild marks on it and came with like-new park):

1. January 06, 1988 The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia shipped
the weapon to the Anniston Munitions Center, Anniston, Alabama.
2. February 02, 1988 The Anniston Munitions Center, Anniston, Alabama received
the weapon from the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia.
3. February 27, 1999 The Anniston Munitions Center, Anniston, Alabama shipped
the weapon to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution - Anniston,
Anniston, Alabama.
4. February 27, 1999 The DLA Distribution Anniston, Anniston, Alabama received
the weapon from the Anniston Munitions Center, Anniston, Alabama.
5. September 08, 2000 The DLA Distribution - Anniston, Anniston, Alabama
conducted an annual weapon serial number reconciliation on the weapon.
6. January 17, 2003 The DLA Distribution Anniston, Anniston, Alabama shipped
the weapon to the Concept Evaluation Support Agency, Lexington, Kentucky.
7. February 08, 2003 The Concept Evaluation Support Agency, Lexington,
Kentucky received the weapon from the DLA Distribution Anniston, Anniston,
Alabama.
8. June 21, 2003 The DLA Distribution Anniston, Anniston, Alabama received the weapon from the Concept Evaluation Support Agency, Lexington, Kentucky.
9. January 23, 2005, February 12, 2006, January 29, 2007, January 27, 2008, January 25, 2009, January 24, 2010, March 06, 2011, December 03, 2011, January 19, 2013, March 07, 2015, May 01, 2016, March 05, 2017, June 04, 2017 and March 31, 2019 The DLA Distribution - Anniston, Anniston, Alabama conducted annual weapon serial number reconciliations on the weapon.
10. September 26, 2019 The DLA Distribution - Anniston, Anniston, Alabama shipped the weapon to the United States Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command, Anniston, Alabama.
11. October 10, 2019 The United States Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command, Anniston, Alabama received the weapon from the DLA Distribution - Anniston, Anniston, Alabama.
12. October 18, 2019 The Tank Automotive and Armaments Command - Anniston, Alabama shipped the weapon outside the DOD to the Civilian Marksmanship Program South - Anniston, Alabama.

It travelled around a bit from 1988.

This is really cool. I'm going to try it for my Remington Rand. What should I put in the "fee waiver" blocks? Especially the "amount of money you're willing to pay field?
