M5A1 Bayonets on Estore - condition?

Anyone with recent purchase of the M5A1 bayonets on the estore can speak to the condition?
Thanks.

I purchased one about 5 mos. ago. It was caked in cosmoline inside and out but cleaned up to close to new condition. The scabbard was in good shape but I need to find a good way to get the impregnated cosmoline out of the webbing.

Thank you. Seems like a bargain really.

Last order I had a couple months ago one was excellent, the other two only fair with heavy blade wear. All were cosmoline covered. These have been a roll of the dice for the past few years. the excellent ones are well worth the $36 price. The well worn ones are usually not. That is why I always buy 3 at a time, a lot better chance of getting a nice one. Plus you get free shipping on 3 or more.

Here's the ones I got. Not a damaged blade in the mix. All Milpar columbus.

I picked this one up at TMP a week ago. No sign of ware at all, just needs some cleaning.

You might try first submerging it in boiling water. This should remove some of the cosmoline. Then try the boiling water with a nylon tooth brush to remove the ground in cosomoline. Then lastly, use a detergent that breaks down oil.

I've ordered 2. One was in great shape. The other had a broken tip.

I ordered one a while back and seems to be in the middle. Well used but no nicks and not sharpened. No Greek numbers, which I actually found odd. Covered in cosmo and I’m still trying to get off!!

I ordered 2 a while back. One was no greek numbers like new and the other had greek numbers and well worn. I caught my wife not looking and put them in the dishwasher without handles on to clean them up
