Jared,
Good question. I asked Monique when she called and she explained that at the time of the sale everything needs to be accurate with what your attestations are. She said that in cases like mine (and yours), they hold our spot and request an updated packet ASAP, requiring a new notary stamp attesting to what the new (current) address is. Also you need to have an updated GCA membership as well since when I sent mine in it was good, but by the time they called me the membership had expired. Thus, I would: 1. Get a new packet ready to send to them via mail (they need originals as before). Needs to have your current accurate address. I did mine with a 2-day delivery and got it out by the end of the day I was called. 2. Reaffirm your FFL or if different (mine was too) let them know. I did phone calls/emails with them and all was good (mine emailed their FFL to Monique). 2. Have your membership ready to go (email was good) that is accurate and active. I also included this in the new originals I sent to them. They will only record your sale on your new or current address. If it is different form what you sent in, they will let you redo it and when they have everything updated they’ll say, “OK! Now, we have all grades available; which one do you want and what is your credit card number?” :) |

The highest RGN I recall seeing was in the 35,000’s. Since they are serving the 30,000’s right now, if round two ends in the 35,000’s I would think that the CMP would be getting ready to start accepting round three order packets late this spring or early this summer. That is if there will be any pistols to sell.
I was in the 13,000’s and my wife was in the 18,000’s so we each have one but I would not mind another if they allowed us to throw our hats into the round three ring. GuapoPogi |
1911a1
I got a 1911 made in 1912 during the first round. If we are able to participate in the next round I would really like to get a 1911a1 to use at the range. I am affraid to shoot my 1911 too much because it is 110 years old.

Ah man, I'm biting my nails here in anticipation. RGN is 31636. I'm going to be in the middle of nowhere from May 28 to October, plus I'm going to have to resubmit my packet when I get the call because I moved and renewed my GCA membership. The timeline is looking really tight on my end. How fast do they ship the handgun after payment? Do you think they could delay shipment until some later date, like 90 days later at the least?
