Just don't be in a hurry to get it. I placed an order on 5-5 and assume was just added to the queue, which is about 4 months behind on ammo shipping....

I should have figured as much. The 30-06 is gone at the moment anyway. It looks like my M1 is going to get here before the ammo since I got the DBU back on 6/1. It'll get here when it gets here I suppose.

I have an 06 order from 1/9 without any movement. No big deal, just don’t have any expectations of a quick ship.

FYI Creedmoor Sports .30-06 Ammunition 167 grain boattail hollow point match Creedmoor ammo is producing this ammo "hotter" than they did before. your shoulder can tell the difference. They said it was because the latest M1 Garand CMP is selling needs hotter ammo to properly cycle. I will have to adjust my sights for the new ammo now. I dont feel to sure about shooting the hotter ammo in the 03a3 springfield anymore especially with all the warnings CMP sent out about the "Hot" ammo in WW2 rifles

That ammo is perfectly safe in an 03A3.

Have you shot the new 2021 production lapua 30-06 167 grn in the 03a3? Jared at Creedmoor said how much more punch it had than the previously produced 167grn that Dennis loaded.

I haven't shot current production as I have another month of wait time.
If the load has changed I'm sure CMP would be the first to know and would advise about it's usage in any of their rifles. Their current description on the ammo states it's perfect for any 30.06 chambered rifle.

At 2,720 fps velocity this round is perfect for the M1 Garand or any other rifle chambered in .30-06.
I had always believed that the 1903A3 was robust enough handle something with a "punch". If this ammo was really a concern I would think it would be about usage in the M1 Garand......
