CMP North Store Temporarily Closed

The CMP North Store will be closed until further notice to assist with online orders. We apologize for the inconvenience and our teams are working hard to get caught up and back to normal operations. Thank you for your patience! We will announce a reopen date one week prior to reopening.

I know I'll make someone angry asking this, but do we have any idea if this shut down at the north store is projected to be weeks, months, any idea how long as you look at the backlog? I was hoping to come up and shop.

zero idea, but I can provide wild guesses if you'd like.
a. they will sell out due to mail orders and won't open until they get another batch
b. they will open for matches
c. they will open after matches
d. they will be closed until they think super hot demand has calmed down

I vote b. with very restricted inventory, and probably purchase limits.

I spoke to the North Store folks and they said they are hoping to be open for the National Matches.

They don't even know if they will be open yet...I doubt that has been determined.

If the past is an indicator, the North store will be open during the National Matches. They’ll pry have some really nice rifles too, I can only recall one year when the inventory during the National Matches was kinda mediocre.

Also likely if we look to the past, is that the store will open 10 minutes after roll call and close 30 minutes before that days matches end. Meaning the resellers and people who don’t actually participate in the matches will get some great rifles. I will admit though, the pistol shooters may be able to get in on the day they shoot the late relay.

I can see them possibly having bolt action rifles for sale and maybe Field Grade M1's.
With still a 4 month backlog of Service Grade M1's, I would hope that mail orders would be a priority over stocking the North Store.
