Default Period Correct Sling On Early Underwood Stock

In reading Kraig Riesch’s book it’s hard for me to determine whether or not an early Underwood stock would’ve had a type one or type two sling with it. Can anyone speak to which one it should be? TIA

I would go with a type 1 if you can find one.

This is inline with what you'd expect to pay for one today. You probably won't find anyone selling them less on the forum. The days of $50 WWII C tip slings are long gone
