I think these will be in a separate category in collecting - worth a small premium / given a pass for being an arsenal rebuild. I think its shooter category, low end collector original, CMP release (the earlier DCM are worth more, assume they were rebuilds?) and then original - untouched

I prefer it to be original condition, but if it is going to be rebuilt, I would like it to marked as such, so that I can know who did it.

Received a late JSB that had no rebuild markings, really don't know why it was reparked, metal looks new. Came with a US&S slide.
