Default CMP Sanctioned As-Issued Military Match 07/10/22 Muskegon

DATE: July 10th, 2022

SPONSORED BY: Muskegon Pistol & Rifle Club

RANGE LOCATION: 5700 Crystal Lake Rd., Holton, MI. Map available at our website

ELIGIBILITY: Any person eligible to compete under CMP rules. You do not
need to be a member of the club to participate.

RULES: Match will be run in accordance with CMP rules. NO alibis

COURSE OF FIRE: The match will be shot utilizing the CMP JCG course “A” of fire
using the standard SR high power rifle target at 200 yards. We will be using the SHOT MARKER electronic scoring system, thus NO pit duty. Please bring a WiFi capable smart phone or tablet if you have one. IP address for the Shot Marker is:

RIFLES: As-issued U.S. rifle caliber .30 M1 Garand per CMP rule 6.3.2, as–issued U.S. rifle caliber .30 M1903 series per CMP rule 6.3.3,
Vintage Military Bolt Rifle per CMP rule 6.3.6, M1917 and U.S. Krag rifle per CMP rule 6.3.4. M1A/M14 and AR type rifles are allowed per CMP MM and Unlimited Modern Military rules.

ENTRY FEE: $20.00 first rifle, $10.00 second rifle. Each competitor may shoot twice if so desired.

TIMES: Registration begins at 9:00 am. Firing commences at 10:00 am.

AWARDS: CMP achievement pins will be awarded to those who score high
enough per CMP rules.

ADDITIONAL: Food and Water are not available at the range. Please bring your own. ALL competitors are expected to stay for the
entire match to help score. Limited quantities of
30/06 ammo will be available for purchase ($25/35 rounds which must be used in/for the match), otherwise please bring your own safe ammo including hand-loads. MPRC has a few Garands and 1 M1 Carbine available for use. Please call ahead to reserve.

Art, how about adding a 300yd sniper match to complete the circle?? See you there. Good Shooting...

Phil, we can do that, no problem. Anyone who wants to shoot from the 300 yd line in the sniper format after the 200 yd matches are complete is more than welcome. No extra charge, we'll just reformat the E targets to the SR3 and MR63 and hang the appropriate centers. I'll stay as long as anyone would like. When I send out the "reminder" email to the regulars later this week, I'll mention it.

Glad you'll be able to make it and don't forget to grab some target centers! Thanks!
