Last two cases of 22 rimfire from CMP.

Just opened my next to last case of 22 Rem. SV from the CMP. I bought 5 cases a few years ago and thought it would last a lifetime. Well, I think I may just outlast this stuff. Sure is nice practice ammo. I know on the 50 yd benchrest, if I do well with this, I will clean the targets with better ammo like SK match extra.

That was a great ammo deal..... like $125 for 5K as I recall.

Not sure, but somehow I seem to remember $90. Not that it matters today. Was cheap enough and would love to have another few pallets found in some long lost dark warehouse.

I found a receipt from the CMP dated 2001. I paid $50 for a case (5000 rds) of .22! And a can of 1080 rds of 30 carbine was $151.20.

Excellent deal from the CMP! I still have case of that squirreled away. It looks like I’ll be opening it soon!!

Thank you Sir. Receipts have long been filed here. About the same time I grabbed a bunch of 1350 rnd cases of LC Carbine ammo. Funny, when you roll your own those cans last forever. Go figure. I think I have 6 or 8 left in the stash.

I purchased a case this past September at the South Store for a bit over $350. Should have bought more. Saw cases stacked up at the TMP. On the resale market its over &1000 today.

That was good stuff, I still have 2 cases I got in March of '12 @ $90 each. It stays subsonic in my pistol, great for suppressor fun.
