Default 2013 Rusty Kimber M82g order timelines

Well I see store reports and know rusty Kimber M82g's are on, and flying off of, the shelves in the stores, but how about us stuck with the mail order process? I have not seen any posts on any that have showed up but I assume we must be getting close to the initial orders that were placed, but not completely sure. I have been watching the Garand order timeline thread as a reference, but that seems to be all over the map. Also a e-store order just arrived for a wrench I placed after I sent in my Kimber in so I am officially confused.

So here is my timeline for reference. If any have been shipped or are at least in the estore I would appreciate the info. It sounds like there is no danger of these running out, but I have some vacation in March and it would be nice to see the BWT before I head out of the country for a week

Ordered: Rusty Kimber M82g, Mossberg M44 stripped BR(good)

Arrived: 1/16/2013

Default me tto

I ordered a couple of Rustys. I got my DBU on 2/1. I wish I had a dollar for each time I have checked the e-Store to see if the order is on the way.

My DBU:

We have received and verified your recent order. There is nothing that we
will be able to tell you about the order until we have input all orders
received ahead of yours into the system. Your order will now advance to our
sales area and from there to our shipping area. Please note, that unless
otherwise listed, our order to ship time is at least 30-60 days. You will
receive other emails as the order progresses.

Actually I'm pretty impressed at the speed they are moving considering the current climate and buying pressures. Ping back when you see yours in the estore if you could as it sounds like you are about a week in front of me.

Thanks

I purchased my 82G's before the first out of stock deal. If you want one or two of these fine 22's better get your orders in now. These won't be available forever and to hesitate is going to cause you to lose out.

Finally success. Back from vacation last week and my Kimber and M44 BR arrived this morning:

Mailed order: 1/14/2013
Arrived: 1/16/2013
DBU: 2/05/2013
E-store: 3-21-13
Shipped: 4-1-13
Received: 4-2-13

The M44 BR is spotless, original blue finish, perfect bore, perfect crown. (still no idea how I will very be able to find parts to complete it, but whatever).

The 82G looks clean as a whistle. No external yellow preservative or rust on any part what so ever. Bore is pristiene. Will break down bolt and check inside, but not a fleck or trace of rust on this "Rusty" as far as I can tell. It does have the expected slash, but only one and it does not look too deep but is kind of long.

Very happy with these purchases and deal. Thanks CMP!
I wish you all as well on yours.

Flem

Update: The bolt internals are also spotless and rust free. Clearly they forgot to include the rust when they packaged this one. I guess I can live with that
