Default 1903 and 03A3 Springfield cut down stocks question.

What would the value be for 1903 and 03A3 Springfield cut down stocks? Thanks for any assistance.

Depends on how nice they are. Might be worth just a few dollars to be used as donor material for stock repairs.

I would value the stocks in the $50 to $100 range, depending on condition and type and attached metalwork (swivel, buttplate, etc.). I invite others to chime in their opinions.

It really depends on "where" they are cut down.

I can think of no good reason to buy a sporter stock unless it was for an NRA Sporter, or such.

So, the value would be in the remaining metal. Buttplate is $20-35, unless very special application. Bands and/or rear swivel, perhaps $10ea.

So, $50 is not out of the question, but it might take a while. It will sell faster at $25.

Default M1903 shortened stocks

They have some value especially if long enough to do a "duffel bag" repair. Dupage sells the forward pieces. Depends if you like projects and are not putting the stock on a collectable rifle.

One of the stocks could be a duffel bag cut.
