But somehow you missed the multiples posts that said “API” “tracer” “$4 per round” and still decided to share a link about PPU commercial ammo pricing and say “what difference does it make, it’s just for targets”?

Where in that link does it show the current price of API?

I see sold out AP and ball but no API.

That is quite a memory. I lucked into the 2 sealed cans of API, opened one and was able to sell 18 en blocs worth of USGU API.

Also sent Ray Maketa 2 rounds for his research, investigation and detailed analysis of the internals. He confirmed it was exactly like it should have been.

About 10 years ago a forum member opened a 1951 sealed spam can of .30 Cal. clipped FA API

The API The CMP sold, if memory serves, was loose rounds of FN.
I don't think the FN API was a tracer round, but it would "Flash" when it hit something!

Yes you were the man with the sealed FA API cans! I still have my clip of silver tipped Frankford Arsenal rounds in my USGI ammo display. Thanks again, this ammo is quite rare to find today.
Personally I have no interest in foreign made ammo of any kind
