I picked this rifle up this week from a gunsmith/dealer, and shot it yesterday. I put 60 rounds of mixed HXP and reloads through it. It has a new Criterion barrel and CMP Boyds stock set. So far, I'm happy with it. It was $695 plus shipping. He has one left, a 1,4xx,xxx Springfield. New stock and barrel, reparked. Should I?

My first 1917, picked it up yesterday at Talladega CMP. I don't see a date on the barrel so I think it's probably postwar. Not 100% on what the other stamps/markings mean.

A nice 1903A3 that was sold as a Field Grade Remington.. It cleaned up pretty good. Original 12/42 barrel and a serial number that makes it one of the earliest A3.
