Received a RR frame / slide field grade 1945 mfg 2 mil SN. ANAD 2-76 Goes very well with grandpas Remington Rand Deluxe Model 5 typewriter.

Do you have a Smith Corona typewriter and matching 03A3?

How about an Underwood typewriter and M1 Carbine?

Typewriters have almost disappeared from existence with the coming of the personal computer. They are great examples of mechanical precision - something also disappearing these days. Tom Hanks is a big fan of them and has a large collection. He gives them away to individuals and organizations often.

So many US manufacturers were called upon to switch from their usual products to making war time weapons and items. It is a fascinating study.

I am not familiar with this image site you're using, but usually you can choose thumbnail or smaller size, then folks can make it bigger, if they want.

That's a great picture (the small one that I could view). Both are nice examples.
I'll have to try something like that with my Ithaca.....

That finish looks exactly like my Ithaca with a RR slide that I believe came from the Red River Depot,no rebuild marks.The guy I got it from lost the box it came in.It was an earlier DCM sale.
