Default Vintage sniper targets

Is it possible to run the vintage sniper shoot at reduced distance? I am talking about 100&200 yards. Our club is limited to 200 yards.
What targets would be proper? 300 & 600 reduced for those distances?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks , Kevin

you could run one like that as a match for fun, but I don't think the CMP will allow that as an "approved" match. I believe they will do 300/500 as an approved match. You can make the target smaller, but wind at 100 or 200 is not the wind at 300, let alone 600.

email Competitions@TheCMP.org and Christine Elder will likely answer your question quickly.

You could used 600 yard target and 300 yard target reduced for use at 200 yards. That would eliminate a firing line change. It likely end up being a club type match which is better then nothing.

600 to 200 yard is a MR52

300 to 200 yard is a SR42

I was thinking about doing it at 100&200 just to keep the shooters on their toes
Yea, it will just be a club shoot, but it should be fun and hopefully spark some interest amongst the shooters
Thanks
Kevin

You could also just use the SR-1 target at both distances, then 200 will be a more challenging score.

I'm always up for finding new ways to challenge the shooters!
